Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Open Creative Apps (this website) handles information when you browse our independent ArtCraft guide. It is written for a practical launch posture: analytics load only when explicitly enabled for production; advertising is not enabled yet.

1. Who we are
Open Creative Apps publishes an independent English-language guide about ArtCraft and related Crafting Apps (compare, download, product pages). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Adobe Inc. or the ArtCraft / storytold team. Adobe, Photoshop, Firefly and After Effects are trademarks of Adobe.

2. Information we may process
- Hosting / CDN logs: standard request metadata (approximate IP, user agent, URL, timestamps) may be processed by our host (currently Vercel for preview/production deploys) to operate and secure the site.
- Google Analytics 4 (optional): loaded only when both
NEXT_PUBLIC_SITE_ENV=productionand a measurement ID env var are set. If those are absent (preview / default), GA4 scripts are not injected. - Microsoft Clarity (optional): same gate as GA4 — only when production env and a Clarity project ID are configured. May include session replay / heatmaps if enabled.
- Advertising: Display ads are not enabled. See section 2a (Advertising disclosure) below.
2a. Advertising disclosure
Ads are not enabled on this website. We do not currently run Google AdSense, programmatic display ads, affiliate networks, or sponsored placements. There is no live ad serving, no ad personalization, and no advertising cookies from this site at the time of writing.
public/ads.txt(served at/ads.txt) may exist as an empty or placeholder file so the path is reserved; it does not mean ads are live.- Before enabling any advertising (including AdSense), we will: (1) update this Privacy Policy with the network name, data practices, and opt-out links; (2) publish a real
ads.txtpublisher line if required; and (3) add an on-site disclosure near ad units. - Until that happens, treat any third-party claim that this site "shows Google ads" as incorrect.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
Essential hosting cookies may be set by the platform. Analytics cookies/identifiers appear only if GA4 and/or Clarity are turned on via environment configuration. Advertising cookies will not appear until AdSense (or another ad network) is deliberately enabled and disclosed here.
4. Why we process data
- Operate, secure and debug the website.
- Understand aggregate traffic and UX (only if analytics are enabled).
- Respond to contact emails you send us.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Processors may include our hosting provider and, if enabled, Google (GA4) and Microsoft (Clarity) under their respective terms. Official product download links on this site point to third parties (getartcraft.com, GitHub); their privacy practices are their own.
6. Retention
Host logs follow the host's retention. Analytics retention follows the GA4/Clarity property settings if configured. Email you send is kept as long as needed to respond.
7. Your choices
- Use browser controls to block cookies or clear site data.
- Use industry opt-outs where applicable for ads once ads are enabled.
- Email the contact address above to request access or deletion of personal data you sent us directly (we may need to verify the request).
8. Children
This site is general audience information about creative software. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes
We will revise this page when analytics, advertising, domain/operator contact, or hosting arrangements change. The "Last updated" date above will move with material edits.
