How to Download ArtCraft Safely

Download ArtCraft only from its official site, getartcraft.com, or from its GitHub releases at github.com/storytold/artcraft. The current version, v0.41.0, ships a 64-bit Windows installer (.exe or .msi) and a universal macOS disk image (release). There is also a browser version, and Linux users build from source (README).

ArtCraft v0.41.0 files and checksums

Download ArtCraft for Windows

You need Windows 10 (64-bit) or newer. The official page recommends 8 GB of RAM and 2 GB of free storage (download page).

1. Download ArtCraft_0.41.0_x64-setup.exe (the file behind the official "Download for Windows" button), or the .msi package.
2. Optional: check the hash in PowerShell or Command Prompt with certutil -hashfile ArtCraft_0.41.0_x64-setup.exe SHA256 and compare it with the table above.
3. Run the installer, then create a free account or log in when ArtCraft opens.

Download ArtCraft for macOS

You need macOS 12.0 or newer. The official page describes a "Universal macOS build" and recommends 8 GB of RAM and 2 GB of storage (download page).

1. Download ArtCraft_0.41.0_universal.dmg (the file behind the official "Download for Mac" button).
2. Optional: run shasum -a 256 ArtCraft_0.41.0_universal.dmg in Terminal and compare it with the table.
3. Open the disk image to install ArtCraft, then sign in or create a free account.

Use ArtCraft in the browser

If you can't install software, the official site's "Use on web" link opens app.getartcraft.com, described as the studio "right in your browser, no install needed" (getartcraft.com).

ArtCraft on Linux: build from source

None of the 28 ArtCraft releases on GitHub includes a Linux file (checked 26 October 2026). The README's download section offers "Build from source, including Linux" (README). According to the development setup guide, ArtCraft is a Rust/Tauri app, and you need:

1. Rust (cargo) installed.
2. npm or nvm; Node.js 20+ is required (the guide mentions v24.13.0 working).
3. The Tauri CLI (the guide mentions tauri-cli 2.10.0).
4. Then, from a clone of the repository, run ./script/artcraft/unix_dev.sh, which starts the frontend and the Rust/Tauri app together.

That script is the development launcher, so expect a developer build, not a packaged release.

ArtCraft Launcher (suite installer)

The recommended route for several Crafting Apps is ArtCraft Launcher v0.5.1 (storytold/craft-launcher). It installs and updates the suite from official checksums. Full walkthrough: ArtCraft Launcher safe install guide.

FilmCraft downloads

FilmCraft is the open-source timeline editor in the suite (not CapCut). Prefer these official paths only:

• Every other app is listed with its own page on getartcraft.com/apps, and its repository under github.com/storytold.

Download risks: mirrors and "cracked" ArtCraft

• ArtCraft is free under MIT or Apache-2.0 (license), so a "cracked", "premium unlocked" or repackaged build has no legitimate reason to exist.
• Third-party download portals and mirrors aren't controlled by the ArtCraft team, so you can't be sure their files are unchanged. This site links to none of them.
• Check the SHA-256 against the GitHub digest before you run an installer.
• ArtCraft is not sold by Adobe. Any "Adobe ArtCraft" download claiming to come from Adobe is not the real app.
